Membership Terms & Conditions
  1.  Our services
    1. We are Amazon24 Fitness registered address UNIT 1 CLOVERLAY IND PARK, CANTERBURY LANE, RAINHAM, KENT ME8 8GL
    2. We provide group training, personal training and solo training including but not limited to strength and fitness (“the Club”).
    3. We also provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  2. Period of agreement
  • This agreement comes into existence upon your having read and signed the membership contract - by way of purchasing the membership (“Start Date”) and will continue until such time as you shall give notice of your intention to cancel as detailed below.
  • The review period will run until the anniversary of the Start Date (“Review Period”)..
  • The Club agrees that the price of your tuition will not be changed until the Review Period on this agreement has expired.
  • If, once the Review Period has expired, there is a price change, you will be given advance notice in writing at least 30 days before the change is made at which point you may decide to give notice.
  1. Payment
  • You must pay the monthly Membership Fee to us on the same date each month from the date of initial purchase.
  • If you fail to pay the whole or any part of the monthly payment on time, we may charge interest on that sum at 4% above the banks base rate from the due date until it’s paid.
  • Payment remains due despite irregular or non-attendance unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  1. If you breach this agreement
  1. We consider that any inappropriate conduct within our premises, either to one of the staff or another member is a breach of the Terms and your membership may be immediately terminated. 
  2. Other less serious breaches, for example a failure to pay the Membership Fee, may result in a default notice.
  3. If you breach any term of this agreement and fail to comply with a default notice sent to you in respect of that breach, we may require you to pay us immediately the whole sum for the notice period together with any outstanding amounts.
  1. Information about you
  1. We will only collect and hold information about you to the extent that we need to for the performance of this agreement, we will never pass on your information to third parties but we may contact you about services we think you might be interested in.
  2. You must notify us in writing of any change in your home address or other information given by you in connection with this agreement.
  1. Your responsibilities
  • You must consult your physician before commencing any exercise classes or training with us, particularly if you have underlying health issues.
  • You must inform us of any health issues or injuries that affect your physical condition.
  • We are not liable for any losses or injuries that occur on our premises in the circumstances where you have not taken medical advice and/or failed to inform us of your condition.
  • You must abide by our code of conduct which means that you are expected to respect both staff and other members at all times.
  1. Temporary illness or pregnancy
  1. In the event of illness that lasts for more than 7 days, injury or pregnancy we can arrange for your monthly payments to be downgraded to a suspension basis providing we receive notice in writing together with a note from your doctor. 
  1.  Limit of our liabilities
    1. We do not warrant any particular outcome, whether it is improved health or weight loss, as your results are personal to you and may depend not only on a pre-existing health condition but also your activities and eating outside of the Club.
    2. Although we offer guidance on healthy eating and exercise, no information that we give you is medical advice nor should it be taken in substitution for medical advice.
    3. We are not liable for any injuries that you sustain whilst in the Club other than if there is a hazard present at the premises nor direct or indirect losses,
  2. Suspension Of Membership
  • Access to membership privileges can be suspended by giving 30 days’ notice of your intention to suspend.  Please be aware that full payments must be made until the expiry of the notice period. When the suspension has been activated the monthly payment amount will be reduced to £20 per month. This will keep your membership place available to you until the time at which you wish to return to full access privileges of your member status and your payments will revert to the full rate.
  1. Cancellation and refunds
  • In the event of permanent injury or permanent illness, this agreement and the obligations under it will be cancelled on production of a medical certificate issued by a doctor.
  • In the event of death this agreement will be cancelled, and the deceased’s estate will not incur a liability under this agreement.
  • This agreement can be cancelled in writing by giving 30 days’ notice of your intention to cancel.  Please be aware that all scheduled payments must be made in full if the monthly payment date is within the notice period.
  •  A cancellation cannot be accepted until a minimum of 1 Monthly payment has been collected prior to the cancellation request.
  • No refunds will be given where payments have been made and the student has not attended classes or pre-agreed services.
  • No refunds will be given where payments have been made for any Pro Shop Items that are to be made to order (including and not limited to; T-Shirts, Hoodies, Bags etc) or for any services that were paid for in advance and the student cancels the appointment.
  • If you choose to cancel your membership with Amazon24 Fitness, we retain the right to refuse any future requests for returning to member status with us.
 
  1. Closures
    1. No classes run over Christmas, New Year or Bank Holidays. Over these periods of closure, you will still be required to make membership payments.
    2. You will be provided with additional training material which can be utilised at home whilst the business premises are closed.
  2. Communication
    1. Any communication required as stated above must be sent to our office at UNIT 1 CLOVERLAY IND PARK, CANTERBURY LANE, RAINHAM, KENT ME8 8GL or via email at support@amazon24fitness.com for the attention of the Office Manager. For further communication telephone 07739 006798
